Hello and welcome!
I’m Ariana (she/her/hers), a dedicated therapist passionate about guiding individuals through their personal journeys toward fulfillment and well-being. My path to becoming a therapist began in the heart of Hollywood, California, where I witnessed firsthand that beneath the glitz, glamour, and material success, so many people were still searching for a deeper sense of contentment and meaning.
This realization sparked a profound shift in my own life. I pursued a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, driven by a genuine desire to help others navigate their unique paths with clarity, compassion, and confidence. Over the years, I have developed a strong foundation in treating eating disorders, anxiety, and depression, drawing from evidence-based practices with a warm, human-centered approach.
In my practice, I view therapy as a professional friendship—a collaborative, authentic space where we walk together through life’s challenges. I believe in celebrating your strengths, exploring your stories with curiosity, and offering support rooted in empathy and real understanding. My hope is always to create a safe, welcoming environment where you feel empowered to grow, heal, and reconnect with yourself.
Recently, I made the decision to downsize my private practice after receiving the incredible opportunity to join Equip Health, one of the leading eating disorder treatment teams in the country. I am deeply grateful for this next step, and for the continued professional development, learning, and collaboration I will experience there—growth that I bring back into the care I provide my clients.
When I’m not in the therapy room, you can find me at home with my husband and our two Maine Coon cats, who add joy, humor, and warmth to our daily lives.
My Values
Food Freedom
Food freedom is about embracing a positive, flexible relationship with food where all foods are allowed, and choices are guided by internal cues like hunger, satisfaction, and nourishment rather than external rules or restrictions.
Body Neutrality
Body neutrality focuses on accepting and respecting your body as it is, without placing emphasis on how it looks, but rather on how it functions and serves you in daily life.
Self-Compassion
Self-compassion is the practice of treating yourself with the same kindness, understanding, and care that you would offer to a good friend, especially during times of difficulty or self-criticism.
Sexual and Gender Freedom
Sexual and gender freedom is the right to express and live one's sexuality and gender identity openly and authentically, free from discrimination, oppression, and societal constraints.
Collaboration of Care
Collaboration in a private practice involves working together with clients and other professionals to provide comprehensive and integrated care, ensuring that clients receive well-rounded support tailored to their individual needs.
Diversity
Racial and religious diversity as core values prioritize embracing and respecting individuals' varied cultural backgrounds and beliefs, fostering an inclusive environment that values and learns from different perspectives.
